Working Group On
Follow-Up Audit

The establishment of a WGFA is in line with INTOSAI-P 20 Principles of Transparency and Accountability, Principle 3: “SAIs have effective follow-up mechanisms and report on their recommendations to ensure that the audited entities properly address their observations and recommendations as well as those made by the Legislature (INTOSAI-P10 - Mexico Declaration on SAI Independence principle 7)”.

The goal of the WGFA is to identify and enhance the role of SAIs in assisting their governments increase the impact and value of their audit practices. The establishment of this new working group will play an important role in fostering cooperation among INTOSAI members.
